About Me
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I’m also a professional member of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP). Before becoming a therapist, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Ball State University in Indiana, where I also competed as an NCAA Division I soccer player. This lived experience continues to shape my deep understanding of the mental and emotional demands faced by athletes and high-achievers.

In addition to my psychotherapy training, I’m a Certified Hypnotherapist through the University of Toronto. I integrate mind-body approaches into my work to support emotional healing, performance growth, and lasting change.

With over four years of experience in the field of psychotherapy, I am committed to ongoing professional development to deepen my clinical knowledge. I regularly engage in advanced trainings, certifications, and peer consultation to ensure my work remains grounded in the latest research and best practices.

Athletic Background
Past and Present
Sport has always been a meaningful part of my life. As a former NCAA Division I athlete, I learned firsthand what it means to perform under pressure, recover from setbacks, and stay connected to your purpose in sport. These experiences continue to shape how I support athletes, through empathy, understanding, and lived perspective.

Today, I continue to challenge myself through mid-distance running and am currently training to become an elite-level 5K runner. This pursuit keeps me grounded in the athlete mindset and reminds me daily of the focus, adaptability, and emotional resilience that growth requires.
My work is deeply informed by this dual lens, as both a clinician and a lifelong competitor.

Meet Hazel
My Comforting Companion
You might spot a friendly face in the background during virtual sessions. While Hazel is not formally trained as a therapy dog, her calm presence often brings a sense of comfort and grounding into the space.

In therapy, we talk a lot about nervous system regulation, emotional safety, and feeling at ease. Animals naturally model this. Hazel reminds me to slow down, take a breath, and stay present.

Hazel won't be part of your session directly, but maybe in the future once she gets formally trained as a therapy dog!
